Sreemoolavasam was an ancient Buddhist centre located on the south west coast of kerala. It was washed away or submerged in to the sea due to sea erosion or a tsunami, so unable to spot its exact location in these days. But many historians argues that it was located in Thrikkunnapuzha near Haripad in Alappuzha District connecting the archaeological finding related to Buddhism received from the nearby areas.
